Setting up 3g on a Nexus One with Hutchison Three - Vodafone. AUSTRALIA

Hi there,
I got this phone from Hong Kong before it was released in Australia. It took me a while to figure out how to get 3G and internet working. Doing the following helped me:

On the device, tap the Menu icon.
Select Settings > Wireless & networks (or Wireless Controls) > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.
Press the Menu key and select New APN.
Select Name, enter 3 Services and tap OK.
Select APN, enter 3services and tap OK.
Enter the user name and password listed below. If no value is listed, leave the field blank.
Username:
Password:
Select APN type, enter default and tap OK.
Press the Menu key and select Save.
Press the radio button next to 3 Services to set the profile as default.

You should now have internet etc. setup on your Nexus One using Hutchison Three as a carrier.

Have a look at Whirlpool for some Australian centric android & Nexus discussion. And at Android Austrlalia for the correct APN setup for the 3 network. How to do it has all been well documented over there for months.
