Vodafone settings for Nexus.

HI all, just got my nexus and i was able to succesfully do the settings for Vodafone MObile connect.

Here is how you setup...

first select Vodafone as you carrier.
Create a new APN (access point)

Name: What you like....
APN: www
Proxy:blank
Port: Blank
Username and password: Blank
Server: portalnmms
MMSC: http://mms1.live.vodafone.in/mms/
MMS proxy: 10.10.1.100
MMS Port: 9401
MCC and MNC values will be there automatically.
Authantication type: PAP
APN type: default (you would need to type it)

These settings would enable both VMC and MMS service at the same time, i am using it. and it works like a charm
Send me a message if there is any query.

Hello there,

I purchased a Google Nexus One from USA and have shifted to Hyderabad, India. I have chosen Vodafone as my mobile carrier.
Went through your forum and as said, have manually entered setting for my APN.
Here are the settings:
Name: <any name>
APN: portalnmms
Proxy: 10.10.1.100
Port: 9401
MCC: 404 (this value popped up automatically)
MNC: 13 (this value popped up automatically)
Authentication Type: PAP
APN Type: default

After having done all these settings I got the 'E' icon on my mobile. Also I got my GPRS activated by sending ACT VL message to 111. Also confirmed from vodafone store that my GPRS is activated. But still I am unable to coonect to the internet.
When I try to connect to internet I just get a blank page (sayd loading) and after sometime I get a message "Unable to load your webpage".

Plzzzzz help
