I have been waiting for a month and if this doesn't happen
I'll have to get another phone. Things don't look so bright for now

Based solely on the way it was handled with T-Mobile, you will not be able to add the N1 to your family plan. I hope that is not the case though, but if T-Mobile is anything like how its going to be, its not looking good.

I need the N1 on Verizon March 23rd or i will be mad.
Family plans for my family save us about $30 a month; so
it is money loss if I don't get this phone eligible for family plan.

If you wait a few more weeks you can get the HTC Incredible. It has similar specs to the N1.

But with Sense UI.

Haven't had a chance to play with Sense UI. Is it better/worse? Or up to personal preference?

Its all personal preference. My big thing with Sense is that it adds on quite a bit of time for getting updates...from what I understand it could be upwards of 3-5 months before newer versions are release with Sense.

I could be wrong, but, my fiance and I are on a shared plan and I just got off the phone with VZW customer service.

They are letting me upgrade from my Alltel Curves to an Android phone and we discussed the NexusOne. The C.R. Rep couldn't confirm the release date for the N1, but never said there was an issue with my fiance having a Curve and me having the N1.

Maybe he just doesn't know? But he said I could call back and order it when it officially releases.

If the N1 is not available in Verizon stores, you can only get what is offered through Google's site. If its anything like T-Mobile, you wont be able to do family plans and likely wont be able to do NE2. However, thats not to say that Verizon wont take the offering 1 step further than T-Mobile and allow all of those things. Only way to tell is after the announcement.
