Amazing Plan
Hey everyone!

I work for Rogers here in Canada, and we are currently offering a 6 GB data plan for $30/mo which is $5 more than the 500MB plan, so jump on that plan quick!

Thanks for the 411. I'm careful with my data usage and haven't even come close to my current 500MB limit... but this is a good deal for those who use lots of data.

Actually, I called Rogers this week about it. While the price is good, be warned it will extend your data plan for another 3 years

It does extend your data plan, but as long as your voice plan stays the same it won't reset your upgrades. ALSO, the plan is still going on and I'll post when it stops.

As soon as I heard, I jumped on it right away. $5 more for a million times the data, great deal. As for extending the term, I've been with rogers for about 15 years and don't plan on changing anytime soon. My voice plan is simply too good to give up and is not available anymore.
I normally don't go over 500mbs either but I was careful watching videos on my phone before and now I do what ever and I can tether my data to my laptop without worrying about going over.
