Nexus One Screen Capture "Picture Frame"

Hi Guys,

If you want to have a little more fun with your cool Nexus screen captures I have created a Nexus Screen Capture "Picture Frame" for you.

Just paste your 800x480 Screen captures into this "Picture Frame" and you will have a realistic looking Phone/Screen Capture.

Enjoy!

You can hook your phone up to your computer and use ADB

I don't know id adb lets you take screenshots (but if it does, I'd love to know the command line to do it!), but if you have adb you also have ddms. Ddms definitely lets you capture the screen but its a GUI application, not a command line app.

Android Debug Bridge is one of the tools that comes with the Android SDK. It allows you to install APK's to the device, push files onto the device, pull files off, and open a shell, among other things. It's an essential tool for doing Android development; even if you don't use it manually, Eclipse (or other development tools) will make use of it.

Thanks for graphics and info

Thanks for the frame and for the info about screen shots. Here's an article that makes it sound do-able, if not actually simple:

How to Capture Screenshots on the Google Nexus One - Using the Android and Java SDKs - Softpedia

if your phone's rooted, there's an application called ShootMe in the market. It allows you to take screenshots by shaking your phone or by shouting at your phone.
