Sending txt messages and recognising contacts
Hi,
Got my Nexus One yesterday, and everything seems well - works great on o2 here in the UK but I have come across a problem that I hope I am just being stupid... I imported all my contacts across from my sim card, and they all show up fine. However, if I try and compose a new txt message, and type someone's name into the 'To' field, it finds noone...... I can go to their contact and message from there which works, and if someone sends me a message I can reply to it fine, but any new messages just dont seem to play ball.... Anyone experience this? Anyone know if I am being stupid? Cheers, Craig |

In the contact details is the number assigned to mobile/home/other etc...if it isn't it doesn't seem to see it when composing a text?

If you go into gmail on desktop you can look at synced my contacts and edit them all. Its faster than doing it all on the phone. It will update on the nexus pretty quickly too.
