Navigation App. Force close
I am having issues with my Navigation App.
When I go to open it I instantly get the:  "Sorry! The application Maps (process com.google.android.apps. maps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" Force close / Report. In the past when this happened I would clear the Map application of data and uninstall updates and the navigation feature would return, but not today. Any suggestions? Any other navigation apps worth downloading? Nexus One 2.2.1

When in doubt I just do a factory data reset on the phone. Might be a lil extreme but it gets results.

Sorry for the delayed response. I was able to get my navigation to work, thankfully without a factory data reset.
Here is how I did it. First I deleted all data, checked still did not work. Second deleted all updates, checked still did not work. Third downloaded all new updates, checked still did not work. Forth deleted all updates again, checked and it WORKS GREAT. I don’t exactly know why this worked yet but I am trying to figure it out. I would like to someday get the updates to Maps and still be able to use the navigation feature. Anyone know why I can’t? SliceBurgSlim – Thanks! Hack the Planet
