picture of contact doesn't show up

i got the pictures of contacts from my gmail account. when i call, the picture is left blank (the green robot shows up), when i end the call, the right picture shows up a second... anyone else experiencing the same thing?

It does that with mine also. I don't think it shows pictures during calls! When you receive a call waiting, it will show the faces. But during a call, the android is shown, and only shows the contact when you hang up.
