Nexus One Camera Issue: Cloudy Red Blur in Middle

anyone having the problem with a pink hue in the middle of the screen when using the camera and on the resulting pictures on the N1? i'm having the exact same issue i saw online that troubled the HTC HD2, that HTC eventually issued a hotfix for, that apparently resolved the issue.

i was on with HTC support and we tried a few things. next step is for them to send me a new one....

anyone else experiencing this?

yep, my camera has a pink tint to it right in the middle of the screen. It seems to be most noticable in low light.

i think some reviews mentioned something about that and you have to mess around with the settings a little bit to get it right, mine has it too, but i didn't look to see if you can even change settings yet

yep, i tried adjusting all the camera settings with htc support on the phone and nothing helped... it seems like more and more people are reporting this problem.

i'm very happy to report that after doing a hard reset last night with HTC support and playing with the setting the pink blurb is gone as long as change the white balance from auto to either incandescent or indoors... hopefully htc will release a hotfix so i can just use the auto white balance setting...

That seems to be the fix that everyone is being told.....

Yup you're not alone --- I have the same issue. Noticed it when I was taking a picture indoors in front of a huge picture window with sunlight glaring in.

Talk with HTC tech support about pink hue issue is hardware or software problem, no answer?
