Dust under screen already!!!
So whenever I am not using my phone, it is inside the little sock thing it came with, yet I have dust under my glass already.. It's been a week now, and there's already 2 big dust specs. Anyone else having this issue?
And do you think google will offer replacement similar to Apple? This really bugs me and shouldn't happen. I can understand on an old phone, but a new one?? /rant

I also have the dirt spec problem only I think it is actually a bad pixel in the screen. Mine looks just like a tiny black spec of dirt on the screen in one area. When I called HTC the fella that helped me also assumed it was a bad or "stuck/dead pixel".

Pixel issues
Just a thought, have you tried "Pixel Fixer" it's free from the Android Market. may fix the stuck or dead pixel issue. I have it for the G1 but it should work for any touchscreen android powered phone.

It was probably there before you bought it the screen is sealed.

I have a tiny dust fiber underneath my screen as well that i noticed when i was outside in the middle of the day. I too keep mine in the nexus one case it came with at all times when not using it :|

Well, I don't know if it came with the phone or if it found it's way in there somehow, but HTC is replacing the unit free of charge.
If anyone else has this issue and would like a replacement, simply call 1-888-216-4736 and hit 2 for tech support. i told the nice lady that I had dust under the screen and within 5 minutes I was all set to receive a replacement. Maybe the phone number and steps to get it replaces should be stickied to make it easier for people that have this problem?

Thanks so much for the number! I just called a little while ago after noticing dust under the screen and HTC is going to swap it for me. I dont know about google, but HTC seems to have great customer service.
