Call Log: Call Time highly inaccurate
My (Froyo) Call Log reports a call made on Sunday at 3:30pm
as "yesterday", but today is Tuesday and it's noon. I am 3hours 30 minutes short of two days since the call, and it was not yesterday by any measure. Likewise, a call made 1 hour 55 minutes ago reports as 1 hour ago, rather than the more sensible 2 hours ago. I'd even settle for "~2 hrs ago". Anyone else about this? I searched for a setting to change this, to no avail. |

Wish I had a solution for you rhasa, but this appears to be a real bug in Android. It's been reported to Google
Issue 2186 - android - Call Log showing incorrect time date information after DST change - Project Hosting on Google Code Issue 3132 - android - Call Log Reporting Wrong - Project Hosting on Google Code I had this and a few other time related bugs on my Hero, although my N1 has been fine. I was never able to resolve it on the Hero. By now Google should have had this problem fixed. |

Amazing
Gingerbread update, and it's still not fixed. This is a phone! And it is a very easy fix (I code for a living). They made "everything better" except for the one thing that's been lingering. Hey, as long as there is no direct comparison with the competition, the users will just take it, eh? |
