Dead or stuck pixel?

I've seen many people having problems with dead/stuck pixels on their nexus one, but I'm not sure which I have. I've seen that you can fix stuck ones, but dead ones mean sending it back to htc.

The one pixel I'm having problems with is a constant blue color. I can see it on any background except a blue one. I figure this means its a stuck pixel as I would think a dead one wouldn't show any color ever.

Can someone just clarify for me?

I realize this. This doesn't answer my question of whether its stuck or dead though.

It's a flaw either way. Send away for a replacement.

Does anyone know whether me buying it on ebay voids my warranty?
For example, am I going to need a receipt or original order number?
Is the warranty transferrable?

Been running it pretty religiously all day. I do notice some fading, going from a dark, almost black, blue to a more sky blue now. I'm definitely encouraged and am going to keep running it quite a bit over the night and tomorrow to see what happens. Its at least less noticeable, which is good.

I have in the top left corner of my N1 an orange half circle sort of tint that is always there. I got my N1 last Tuesday. It has been there since the moment I turned it on. I just installed that app, it is running right now, but does this sound like the same sort of issue??
