Unable to disconnect from a call
Has anyone been unable to disconnect from a call? While on a call, I will hit the end call on the screen and nothing happens, the phone then freezes (as the call continues to voicemail)and I have to power off and restart. It seems to only happen when the other party does not answer. I try to disconnect and not leave a message, and the phone goes crazy.

Any installed apps?
Did it ever act normal? Try a battery pull? |

Yes this happened to me as well
I had put a lot of apps on my phone that were crashing my phone, so i thought maybe these were the culprit. I have since restored my phone to factory default and have not experienced this issue since (fingers crossed). I will post back if i have this issue again.
P.S. I do think it has something to do with certain apps, and after more time goes by the app support for nexus one should improve, then we will see less of these issues. UPDATE: Well this has happened again to me and the only way to disconnect the call is to remove the battery or you must wait for the voice mail of the receiving call to disconnect.. ugh. well we can't be the only ones having this issue. Anyone else having same issue?.....Anyone? UPDATE: Some people are able to hold the home button and then slide down the notification bar to unlock phone. if you are experiencing this issue, the best thing you can do is STAR the thread in the link above. if you respond to the thread with, "me too," you just clutter the thread and the OP gets an alert everytime.
starred issues tend to get more attention. |

It appears so. I started noticing the issue a couple days ago (right after the 2.1 update). I tested this a couple times by calling a number and I had a 50-50 chance of a successful call completion, meaning that I was able to pull the phone away from my ear and hit the 'End Call' button, the rest of the tries I was unsuccessful (the screen was black and the phone unresponsive) so I had to wait for the other line to hung up, and had to press the power button to get my unlock pattern back on.
