Sorry, but the A method in the Google instructions for finding your PB # don't appear to work.

If you look under your battery, I bet you find PB99100, because your P/N is for the T-Mobile band.

You SHOULD be able to update. Have you verified that you named the file update.zip and not update.zip.zip? That appears to be a common problem with people that fail to update.

Otherwise, do as jonno2k suggests and just wait. It's clear the current release isn't a final one. Several problems have been discussed. You have to decide if you really want the test builds.

Does the OTA push depend on your carrier?
My sim card is o2. I'm using my N1 in the UK but it was purchased from the US sim free from the google market :-)

someone enlighten me?

No. It only relies on your access to the internet. When the first update happened, I was the first on here to report that I got an OTA update. At the time I was using a T-Mobile phone with an AT&T SIM.
