Video Format

Hey, when i record a video on my N1, and transfer it to my comp, VLC and WMP cannot play the video. [plays but with no sound]

It is missing a samr codex or something.
Problem is, the only way to get it in VLC, is to recompile VLC yourself with the codex as VLC as a company cannot support it as it is a Apple codex.

The video plays on Quicktime[apple] and i dont want to download it just for this.

Any ideas?

It records to .3gp which is really stupid. Only media player I know that can open this with sound is GOM Player.

3gp players I know of are

Real player
Quick Time Player
Mplayer
SMPlayer
MPCStar
Rules Player

And for me the best because I used to use Nokia cell phones is the Nokia video player.

I am sure there are more 3gp players
