Touch screen issues

Anyone experiencing sensitivity issues with the touch screen? Every now and then I find an area near the bottom left corner to be unresponsive. Locking and then unlocking the screen seems to fix it.

Yes - the far sides of my screen are difficult to touch. The four menu "icons" at the bottom are also horribly mis-configured and pressing on them doesn't do much unless you're pushing above the icon.

Not sure how this made it through QA as it's an obvious flaw within 10 minutes of use.

Hopefully it's a SW issue that can be tweaked......

Anyone have an issue when laying in bed and the phone is at about a 45 degree angle towards your face (while laying in bed). The keyboard and screen acts crazy. For example when i click the "o" key it automatically types in 2"p's" after it. When I use my finger to scroll towards the middle of the screen --- it highlights the option keys at the bottom (in Mail) right above the soft keys ...

I had exactly this issue in bed this morning. Couldn't type an O at all, and the delete key insisted on giving me smileys (in the messaging app).

Very, very strange...

Yes it is strange. Once I sat up it was fine. No issues at all. My guess is that it might be an accelerator issue with it being at a strange angle. Lets hope Google fixes this ... I always use my phone in bed!!
