USB / charger connector "loose"

My USB / charger connector seems to disconnect from the computer connection sporadically. I assume this means I need to replace either the internal connector itself, or the whole Mother Logic Board it is connected to. Anyone else have this problem and a solution?

I have the same problem. I tried using the dock but now even that isn't working. I think its a motherboard replacement type of situation. Looks like I'll finally be giving up my nexus one.

According to ifixit.com, You need the motherboard replaced. Here is the part:

Thanks. I'm already replacing the upper flex cable ribbon assembly, so when I go in there I'll inspect the USB connection to the mother board and see if I can solder or otherwise tighten the connection.
