Market apps download fail - Starting download...

I am out in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone coverage. I'm connected to a wireless access points and cannot download apps trough the Market App. Under Downloading it says "Starting download..." and fails after a few minutes.

That happened to me a couple of times, but all I did was start the download, cancel it after a few seconds, start, stop, etc.. after a few times it took.
