Nexus one keyboard

I am just wondering, does anyone know if its possible to turn off that little letter popup, you know when you click on a key and it brings up this bigger preview of the letter you just hit above your finger?

I find it very annoying because when you type really fast its not like you can see it and its useless. Plus the space bar popup is huge and hides like 4 other keys when its active.
