Nexus One works in Costa Rica with ICE
I am in Costa Rica and was able to pull a SIM card from a friends phone and put it into my Nexus One. Phone fired up and was recognized right away and I was able to place a call without issue.
So the Nexus One works fine on the ICE network for voice calls, no data enabled on the SIM so no way to test that. ICE: Grupo ICE:ICE, Racsa, CNFL

according to this.
GSM World Coverage Map- GSM Country List by frequency bands costa rica listens and broadcasts 3G on 850mhz band. which make for it like at&t. So if you have an at&t N1 you will get 3g down there. i cross checked my references for accuracy. you are welcome. |
