No Froyo Update Yet?!

I have the AT&T Nexus One, haven't received the OTA Android 2.2 update yet. I've convinced 4 people to purchase the N1 as opposed to the iPhone, and all of them have gotten it lol.

Can someone explain, or teach me how to manually update?

(I tried the checkin dial, tried to Check for System Updates, no luck)

Thanks!

Can you tell me if your phone is rooted and whether you have a custom ROM?
If your answer to either (or both) is yes, then you wont get the OTA. You have to do a manual update. If I can get an answer I can give you some suggestions.

Also, do you have custom recovery (like Amon-RA)?

Actually, one of my N1's is rooted -- custom bootloader, but not a custom ROM. I did receive the OTA, but it failed to install (due to Amon-RA, rather than the stock bootloader) and that was the end of that story. So, regardless of having rooted, if you still have the standard OS ROM, I'd expect (once) an OTA to arrive.

I don't have any of those things.

I had to manually update mine. I kept getting the OTA notification, but it always failed when I tried to install it. So I got fed-up and just forced it.

It's not that hard to update manually. There are a few threads here already explaining how.

I'm in the UK with Vodafone and haven't had a notification yet about Froyo, does anyone know whether they have rolled it out over here yet?

I have done the "checkin" thing - Nothing
