how to get swype?
went to the website said beta closed any other way to get it?

Not that can be recommended here. We can't allow links to unlicensed or unofficial downloads, and have already been asked by Swype to take some down.
All you can do now, if the beta is closed, is to wait for either another beta, or for a full market release. |

Yes, but I was able to get in on the most recent Beta release. I'm using it, but I'm still not convinced that it's as great as everyone seems to think it is. When the Beta expires, I'll probably go back the Nexus One version of the HTC IME keyboard that is linked in the Apps section.

I found that to be very inaccurate with an annoying pop-up screen constantly trying to guess what you typed. Instead there’s a Swype-style app on the market called SlideIT that works the same only far more accurate, with larger keys and fully customizable shortcut dictionary. It isn’t free (I paid about $8), but worth every penny in my opinion.

I have both swype and slideit an to be honest i like slideit alittle better. It just sucks you gota pay for it. They have a free version if you wanna try it before you buy it
