Since the N1 runs the same OS (be it 2.1) as the Driod...
You might already know this answer...

The droid runs 2.0.1 as far I know. Each phone is different, such as Motorola droid has a corporate calendar that can sync with exchange which nexus one does not have the capability of exchange calendar support.

I was asking if the nexus one has these features that motorola droid lacks. Thanks.

The FroYo update gives the following:
1. Ability to accept calendar items in email.
2. HTML files can be opened from email
3. Signatures

Still lacks:
* Email sorting
* Email Search. <--- This one boggles my mind... Isn't this Google????

I don't know about .vcf attachments or the notes field.

Also missing is the ability to set an Out of Office notification or look someone up in the Global Address List.

i think you had the corp calendar app maybe? Enom's ROM mod give this to me, not sure how you obtain it otherwise, but I don't think its a Vanilla feature.

No, you are wrong about Global Address List, Froyo has Global Address List lookup feature. GAL lookup is one of the major chages that Froyo brings.

So how do I look up someone in the GAL? When I search for someone who isn't in my contact list in the contacts app, I can't find them.

[UPDATE]: In the email app, typing in a name will pull their email up in the GAL. You can't add them to your contacts nor can you look up a phone number. Only the email address associated with the person.

[UPDATE2]: GAL Lookup doesn't work in Calendar.

Droid originally ran 2.0.1 and was upgraded to 2.1

.vcf files work on Froyo, and since they also work on the MT Slide w/2.1 I would assume they work straight out of the box also.
