issues with SD card

I got a nexus one couple of days ago and was trying to connect it to my laptop with the usb cable. the drivers got installed but am not able to access the sd card on my laptop. when i click on it it says, "Please insert a disk into removable disk (E". Can anyone suggest me what to do to fix this issue

Did you download this driver? USB Driver for Windows | Android Developers

USB Driver for Windows, Revision 3, Are you on XP or Vista?

If Vista loaded a driver, but it's not 'succeeding', you need to update it, per the instructions. If you have never installed ANY adb interface, then the 'fresh install' would be appropriate, but Vista *should* have had no problems installing its native driver for Android (I never manually installed a driver).

but i dont find any ADB driver on my device manager as told in the update driver section in the link you sent me.
