You guys need a different phone..one that does NOT use the ClearPad2000 from Synaptics.

There isn't much we can do.

Its a limitation of the hardware, combined with coding error in the Nexus.

What does this mean? Well, heavy gaming and multi-touch games probably won't be available for the Nexuss now, or any time soon.

I don't see how its a problem to be honest. There aren't any apps that REQUIRE multi-touch to function. So really, the main requirement for multi-touch is games.

I agree with Alphawave, if you want a phone that can play games that require lots of multi-touch, you need to get a different phone such as a iPhone, or wait for a new model with a better touchscreen.

The ClearPad 2000 was state-of-the-art when designed into the Nexus One (and other phones being released presently). Now, Synaptics has a 3000, and it has 10-finger multi-touch..so best to just wait for another Android with the ClearPad 3000.

OK.so the only way to solve this problem is to buy a ipod or game player.
