i heard about that lol i can see some point about the customer service they should have released it to the cell companies to sell in stores but it is definetly not a failure

I am a lil' scared about Google cutting their losses with the N1 with both Sprint and Verizon blocking half of their U.S. customer base. I want this thing to be continued like Apple does with the iPhone coming out with a new version every year.

The reality of the Nexus One vs iphone in the first quarter...

Truly a bad example, Bishop6. That's comparing ALL Android phone sales against iPhone sales.

I love the N1, but it's not the major volume of the total Android market.

Yeah I agree. I really want Google to come out with a new version of the N1 next year the way Apple does with the iPhone, in order to make it better and better over time. But with the low N1 sales due to Verizon and Sprint blocking half of their customers why wouldn't Google just say screw it and focus on android instead?

Your right...

Not a great example I chose, I still think that the Nexus is a strong smartphone, as there is a lot of buzz about it.

Should Google have made that marketing strategy (only selling through their web site) time will tell, I guess!!

Totally agree that it's a great device. Great look and feel, great features...

Looking forward to the next update to see what else it can do. I'd love to see an FM transmitter.
