2 Reasons.
1. O2 3G is poor so you may not be getting it 2. Your SIM is not 3G - Take it out and look at the numbers - somewhere near the last line you should see 3G. If it is 2 you can get a replacement from O2 |

Hello, thanks for your reply. Indeed, it doesn't have '3G' on it, it is a very old SIM I have been carrying on from , at least 4 diffrent phones over more than five years now. The world is changed

Update:
yes, it was the SIM card. I got a SIM swap yesterday and I was getting 3G withinh an hour. Thanks for the tip!
