Phone: Palm Pre, nexus one soon
Carrier: Sprint
I just waited for the green light (90% i think) and dont think i had a full charge but I melted my battery last night downloading everything in sight, maybe 5 hours but like I said, wasnt a full charge. Full charge today, will see how well it does.

Etiher way I was very impressed with the dialog that came up and told me what was using what % of battery and had settings right there to help out (screen brightness etc).

Coming from a pre where there is very little in the means of battery reporting, it was pretty nice.

Played with the phone extensively with it for about 5 hours until it hit about 5% red indicator... charged for the first time overnight and have had it unplugged for about 6 hours with moderate use. The result is that battery is at 70% now, I'm sure I'll probably have to charge it daily after the first few weeks/months goes past but initially I don't think it's all that spectacular.

Coming from a 3GS that could go to 5% merely idle in 5 hours, it seems pretty good to me

I used my phone for five hours after it was fully charged. I had the screen brightness cranked up and the moving wallpaper was on while I was using the phone. This contributed to the battery running low so quickly. I do like the battery meter a lot.

I have had 3 BB's, 2 iPhones 3G & 3GS, the Droid and now my BB Storm 2 and the Nexus, the Nexus is amazing with holding Charge... Its just awesome, i have everything on, tons of apps in the B-Round GPS/WiFi/Sync/Bluetooth. Great Battery life!

Using AT&T so I don't have 3G data on (because I don't get it) and my battery life is okay. It seems to me like the animated background seems to drain the battery --- When I unplug the phone around 7:15 am. By around 8:30 a.m. without using the phone I am at about 93% power --- Not sure what to make of it ... Suggestions?

If you haven't already, check to see what utilized the battery under Settings > About phone > Battery Use
