Existing Phone Number Migration to Nexus One

Anyone do it yet - move an existing number to the Nexus One???

Is it automatic - does it just show up?

How long did it take for you (they say to call T-Mobile if it hasn't happened within 24 hours)?

ported my number from sprint

i'm still in mid-transition however

incoming calls still ring to my sprint phone

outbound calls from my N1 use my number on the caller ID, as do SMS

I was told it could take up to 24 hours to complete

details please?

Please describe the migration. I am coming from AT&T and due to some stuff at work I can't have any periods of time where neither phone works or people aren't able to reach me at my number.

Does your old phone on the old number still work while the Google Nexus One is being shipped to you?

When does AT&T get notified that you are ditching them?

Does absolutely nothing happen until you activate the Nexus One?

thanks

tho I did also call them yesterday, to re-initiate the port process, as it seemed i had a lock pin on my sprint account

Usually depends on how busy the network is....I've only done it a few times, 4 to 12 hours seemed to be the norm...
