it's not really a hidden feature it's cooliris integration in the gallery. i found out about it from the cooliris website.

I wanted that to be a default feature, pretty pointless that they had that only when you tilt it to the far end.
I found out about this a few days back, but its not worth it imo, the "bug" is hard to get a hold of, so gave up :|
