Apple Lawsuit Officially Halts HTC Phone Sales In U.S.

it's not true. itc just launched it's investigation today. it'll be a while until they make a decision.

that is possibly the worst site I know for breaking tech news...on the 24th, they reported that the VZW N1 had been released on the 23rd...great reporting there.

Yeah it took me a couple articles on there to realize they had no idea what they were talking about. I got really confused when I read that the phone had actually been released on the 23rd...

It's not true.
The ITC revealed on Wednesday that voted to formally begin an investigation of "certain personal data and mobile communication devices and related software." Within 45 days of the start of the investigation, the ITC will set a target date for its completion.

From recent history on this matters it usually takes years before any decision is taken

probably HTC will never get banned to sell in America. Most likely it'll end up HTC folk out big amount of money out and it'll be fore.

The ITC is a government agency that investigates claims of unfair trade practices including patent infringement. It has the power to order a ban on imports if a violatio is found. It typically takes about 15 months complete investigations
