Yeah, I just got mine an hour ago, but I did notice that. For the Moto Cliq, I hit the menu button, and that shows the locked screen, I hit the menu button again, and the phone is unlocked and ready to go.

When I get a call, the phone turns on automatically, and I swipe a green thingy to answer the call and I'm ready to go.

I agree that the interface for accessing the phone is kludgy. I'd rather just hit a button than have to swipe to unlock, and that seems silly to have to swipe twice just to answer the phone. Too many steps.

Notice that with the Cliq, you don't have to 'unlock' the phone to answer a call, it's already on and all you have to do is swipe once.

Edit: Well, I haven't put my sim in yet, so I haven't answered a call yet, so maybe the above process listed by the OP is not the same for everyone.

Do you lack that much perspective on life, that you would actually list the "excruciating" steps to placing a call on your $600 phone? You sound like a big whiner to me.

You can eliminate step 1-3 by buying a case that you don't have to pull the phone out of.

I'm confused...

You're originally saying you have all these steps to answer a phone (when all you really need to do is swipe once to answer).

Then you post again saying you meant it was for making a call...

Yet I read the last part of the original post and you're saying "... until it rings."

Either way, it doesn't take you to press the power button, swipe to unlock, swipe to answer.

And the steps you included in your original post isn't for making a call...

do you the basic insight to recognize humor when you see it? I even put a smiley face there for you, you know, to help you out.

this is why i hate forums like this. some one will anonymously attack you no matter how harmless a statement you make.
