I'm curious as to why you might want to do that. Are you concerned about the battery lifetime being affected (and is this a problem to be concerned about these days)?

Yes, I'm concerned about the battery life of my Nexus One.
My previous hTC Touch Pro have that settings and the battery life last me almost 1year8mth time before I feel the bat became weak.
The rest of my Phone only last about 1year...

There are far more other things in life to worry about. Don't stress on this. Rusty's right, by the time this is an issue, time for a new battery. So file transfer away! The sun will still shine.
