Send sms/mms on Tmobile with no data plan?
I'm buying the Nexus unlocked and plan on using my existing Tmobile plan that offers no data. Will i still be able to send and receive SMS or MMS messages outside of wi-fi?

Regular SMS is sent via phone/voice plan.
If you use GV for SMS or any other online provider (Yahoo YM, etc) you will need a data plan to get online. |

okay, how about MMS messages if i have a phone plan? They should work just like SMS right?

That's how I see it.
Just check with their website for charges so you don't get a huge surprise at the end of the billing cycle. If you use a lot of those features it may be better for you to add a plan for SMS/MMS. |
