N1 browser does not display streamed webcam

I have a security webcam streaming on port 9998. My iPhone Safari and all the browsers on my computer can see the stream but N1 browser just sits there spinning the load circle. I have default setting for the browser except I allow popups, just to make sure.

Am I missing something?

Does it use Flash? If so you'll have to wait till Adobe release it.

No. iPhone does not support Flash either and it works.

Did you try it on other phone browsers? Maybe there's something missing in the Android browser. How about the Dolphin browser? Did you try that?

Thank you both for responding. I tried the browser suggested - it does not work either. I will have check the format (I am away from the machine). As I said it works with all other browsers on other platforms I could try.

I wonder if this will work.
Open the built-in browser.
Navigate to: about:debug
Menu -> Settings -> At the bottom you have additional options.
One is: UAString (right at the bottom).
Choose Iphone,

Retest

I am sorry, I (by a mistake) posted this on two forums. I did not realize I did not answer some important questions:
Camera: iSight
Soft: EvoCam

Behaves the same way in another Android browser
EvoCam describes their stream as push. It is a cgi program.

Changing setting in Dolphin did nothing
