Have you taken the plunge?
Am i right in thinking it will be 330ish quid + 132ish for importing it and VAT etc???
Can handle the outlay for the phone, it's the import duties that are making me nervous on that "place your order" click!
Anyone gone ahead regardless?

The VAT is about £61

So if you look at the various retailers such as expansys for other phones like the Droid or Hero it works out roughly £30 to £40 more.

I've taken the plunge. I was going to get a Hero back in early December, but saw the rumours about this and held out.

Just got to tell the Kids there isn't any Birthday presents this year

Edit: Checking http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=190234, the Droid \ Milestone is £449, so the Nexus is cheaper!

Yep, ordered very soon after the website went live, but disappointed that I couldn't order more than one at a time!

Let's hope the customs people are on their smoking break when it comes through ;-)

Was thinking about it but can't really justify the spend at the moment. I'd take it on a contract but that option isn't available in the UK at the moment.

One thing that struck me is why is there no European distribution available, why do Google ship the thing half way around the planet to customers. They are probably made in Asia somewhere so having an ordering and distribution centre in the EU would be a logical option and cheaper for customers.
