battery life while using navigator :( WOW

ok i started with 88% started navigator used for 40 minutes and made 1 call.after that i had 28%........... is that normal? also when i got home i started to charge it and it got hot not warm,could this be a deffective handset?

That sounds about right. You are using GPS, data, and Nav all of those load the battery pretty good. you might want to get a car charger next time. The warm battery while charging is normal too just so long as it doesn't stay warm all the time.

Is there a car-dock with fans to cool it? I'd imagine if it gets too hot some internal soldering might disconnect, a la the 360s' heat-sinks.

when my phone was new as in the first few days it also got hot not warm but hot then it just stopped on its on.
