wifi

i have a question for some reason my phone wont log on to my wifi at home. its says incorrect password everytime but other places like my buddies house it jumped right on after i enter the password. and yes i typed my password right lol

I've noticed that a WEP password must be in hex. Make sure you're not using ascii.

If you go to Wi-Fi settings, you will see a list of all the local or remembered SSIDs, you will see a security setting associated with each, such as WEP or WPA.

If you're trying to connect to a WEP router, it looks like the N1 requires your password to be translated to hex. So if your password, for instance, is 'jjets', google 'ascii hex' to find a site where you can convert that to '6a6a657473'

Or a better solution to the above:

If you home Wifi is still on WEP, change it to WPA(2) as soon as.
