Public Service Announcement

Just wanted to say...

A week or so ago I saw or read somewhere, someone talking about how they could not take pictures of theirselves with the nexus because the 'snap' button for the camera is onscreen. This is true but you can also use the trackball to take the picture, so worry not!!!

That is all

I learned this, but its kinda unhelpful, because if you roll the trackball in the LEAST bit, it will move the selection to something and instead of taking a picture, push a button. Pretty annoying.

I'm not sure we have the same nexuses then, coz when I roll my ball around in camera mode nothing happens, unless I'm pressing it while rolling, but even then I think it would only just take a picture.

superb! I'll start using the camera more now. I ddn't like the touch screen camera button. Its almost a dedicated (albeit part time) camera button. Excellent

Ah thats strange! It doesn't do it in the standard camera app. But in a few different camera apps, and in the Twitroid TAKE PICTURE option, if you roll the trackball it would do that.

Its good to know it works fine in the standard camera! I will be using this now.
