Quickly set to vibrate?

I noticed if you press the volume down button often enough, the Nexus One phone goes from low volume, to vibrate mode to silent mode. Is there a quick way to set the phone into vibrate mode, instead of pressing the volume down button several times?

How do you set the phone to "vibrate mode" from the lock-screen? All I see is dragging the right icon to the left to set the phone to silent mode, or pressing the button at the top of the phone to turn the phone off, set the phone into airplane mode, or set the phone into silent mode.

Remember, silent mode and vibrate mode are two very different things.
