rooted nexus one swap with HTC will I be charge ?

Hi, so here is the story:

My nexus one has a malfunctioning power button, so HTC will swap my nexus one.

But my nexus one is rooted, unlock bootloader, and running CM7.

Will HTC charge me? since I rooted, unlock bootlooder, and running CM7, on my nexus one?

Unlocked boot is a warranty voider. Possible to re-lock it manually ? Ask danger-rat, he might answer this one

IIRC, once the bootloader is unlocked, there is no way to re-lock it. Having never done that to mine, I'm not 100% certain of this, though.

There is no known way to re-lock the bootloader (although HTC seen to be able to do it!).

AFAIK, HTC have been pretty good about honoring warranties, even for phones with unlocked bootloaders. I think it's pretty obvious that the bootloader hasn't caused the failure, so you should be good to go. There's no harm sending it in, anyway...

If you do this, and attempt a swap..You'll be charged for " Illegal Software. " = Voided warranty.
