Silent mode but with vibrate?

I've just run into the first non-bug that bothers me. I can't find a way to quickly turn off all sound but still allow vibrate. Sometimes I need to know if someone is trying to reach me when the ringer would disturb other people (eg church when the baby is in the nursery). Yes, the light flashes in silent mode, but then you have to have it out in front of you.

Can anybody tell me if there's a way to toggle all sound -without digging through menus - but leave vibrate untouched?

I use the volume buttons. Put the volume down all the way, then it will toggle to Vibrate only, then to silent.

That's odd. I just realized that the phone has two distinct silent modes - both of which called "silent mode." The one that's accessible from the unlock screen and the sleep button is silence with no vibrate, but the "silent mode" accessible through the settings menu leaves the vibrate alone.

So ... does anyone know of a shortcut to the second silent mode?

There's lots of widgets that toggle on/silent/vibrate

I use Ringer Mode Bar Widget.
