Nexus One Back Cover Different?

Just curious about seeing pictures before about the Nexus One and it had an Android holding up a flag graphic and now it seems the back cover has gotten that graphic replaced with just the "Google" name on it.
Anyone noticed that? Was it the prelaunch models that had it only or was it for only selected countries.
Also anyone gotten the free engraving done when you ordered?

The backs with android/QR code are the ones that were given out to Google employees before it was released on the 5th.

Production models are the ones you see 'Google' on.

Thanks a bunch. Wonder if you would be able to buy one of those covers as a replacement? Hmmmm

I'm sure sooner or later there will be many acessorie available...

I read about this on the Google Help page and afaik they think about it..
I mean they think about offering something like that on the purchase page. Engraving a QR Code

Very nice. I guess the only thing is once you engrave you are stuck with the phone and can't exchange and if there is a problem you have to wait for it to be fixed. Wonder if the local HTC stores will service this phone? They should right? They did build it an it's on their (HTC's) website.
Anyways it's nice to have your phone signaturized and show it off.

I think that when they service it the metal piece can be detached from the main unit. Just an idea... But, also i don't think it's like apple when u engrave something u can't exchange it
