30/12 1.0 TEST- Superboot - rooting the Nexus One - Android @ MoDaCo This isn't tested yet but could work. We'll see when someone is able to try it

To my surprise XDA already has set up a section for the NEXUS today:
Nexus One - xda-developers It mentioned that Cyanogen has it rooted! I will reference this forum link over there tomorrow..
