sprite implementation

I am developing a game for android which is a sprite based game but didnt any way to implement sprites.I even tried the example given on net for 2-D implemntation and thats not working even.Then i read the pro-android games book on android and tried to implement the example in that book,that is not working.Kindly tell me a way to implement sprites.

You may be better off hitting up the XDA Developers board as this is more a Nexus One informative board with limited to no developers here.

if u know how to make java games using sprites... try titanium appcelerator, its easy to build an app there
