Password for Market Application

Is there way to put password to Market Application. So no one else can download application if they got hold of your phone. Reason behind this is my son got hold of my phone and downloaded some games which went through google checkout.

I don't know of a way to password protect the market or its downloads, but I believe if you uninstall the downloaded apps within 24 hours, you won't be charged (or will be refunded). I do not know this from first hand experience.

Thanks for the information. I unstall it. Then got automatic email from google checkout saying:
XXXXXXXXX has cancelled your order. You have not been charged.
Reason: Other (describe below)
Comments from xxxxxxxxx Cancellation requested from phone.

Regardless of the ability to refund apps, this would be a nice feature. If could also block the unauthorized uninstallation of apps. For example if I put the GPS tracking app on my kid's phone so I can verify he is not cutting school, this would let me prevent him from removing it.

It would also go a long way towards making Android acceptable for enterprise.

Couldn't he just turn off his phone?

Well sure, but then he/she (I don't have kids) wouldn't be able to use the phone. A better example would be an employee or field salesperson, etc.

It could also be used for security type apps, etc.
