why doesn't the android phones get awesome apps like being able to play live sports games on it?

It's a f*****g joke and there is no excuse tbh.

Give Android time to attract more developers...Apple has had years, Android is still growing. It'll happen, I have no doubt. But it's not gonna happen yesterday.

iPhone market share - 25%
Android - 7%

Simple as that. I wouldn't worry though. Android is snatching up market share at an exponential rate though.

I kinda like your innocence. Lol...but it "kinda" sounded like:

I did my part to help the unemployed, I told them to get a job.

Hi guys,
Regarding the apps, Apple holds 99.4% of the market*.
So I wonder, is it really interesting to develop on android?
Do you guys buy apps in the android market? I only did on the app store, android apps looks a little bit crappy, I mean, not as good as many iPhone apps. Is that an SDK issue?
Don't get me wrong, there's some crappy stuff on the iPhone too! ;}

lol that tech site didn't even read the report. All they did was read the press release and surmise or ignore missing data.

I honestly wouldn't be worried about it man. Developers are taking notice to the growing android market share and are writing apps like crazy for it now. Here are some numbers to brighten up your day:

New Apps in Feb. - 5,588
New Apps in Mar. (if it stays its current trajectory) - 7,092
New Games in Feb. - 810
Total Games - 4,284
Total Apps as of Dec 2009 - 16,000
Total Apps as of today - 29,550 (+/- 1,000)
