I'm curious what type of capabilities the trackball on the Nexus One will introduce... the first thing that comes to my mind is something similar to "Marble Madness" -- those types of games can benefit from it.

Also brickbreaker types, just like the default blackberry used to use.

Wait, I just read that since Multitouch isn't installed on the phone, that NO games will support multi touch?

That's really depressing for me!

I thought MultiTouch was in place (i.e. API available), just not used by the default installed apps. I guess new apps can use it. Can anyone try Dolphin browser and check the MultiTouch support?

i was thinking that in the web, you can select small icons "pages for example" instead of trying to touch it or zooming in then selecting.

I think the N1 is multi-touch ready in 2.1, but it will be implemented in the next version of android.

Yeah, Dolphin works great with multi-touch.

Since this model doesn't include Start/End buttons it would be nice if it was used as a standard push to see call log and to push to a call, it is IMO an essential part of being on the go without looking at your phone, I see the phone and I'm like... they forgot to include them...

Developers have the option to include Multi-touch in their applications its just for some reason Google did not implement it in any stock apps (browser, mail, etc.)
