Hello,
After rooting my Nexus One (with Android 2.2), the display stopped working. It shows a black screen. The bottom control buttons are working, I can feel the phone vibrating when the buttons are touched and I can modify the volume too, but no image. I tried to reinstall the OS with no luck. Can anyone help me ? DataSmith P.S. The display is not damaged because the fastboot screen shows up when I power on the phone with the trackball. |

How did you go about rooting? Fastboot OEM unlock?
Did you flash a recovery? |

Yes, I used Fastboot with unlock.
I followed an online tutorial and unfortunately it did not say anything about flashing a recovery, but I tried to flash a downloaded recovery image, but that failed too (the recovery screen won't even show up). |

Flash recovery (Amon-Ra) thru fastboot (via computer).
[fastboot flash recovery xxxxxx.img] Succeed then reboot recovery. Wipe then flash Rom (CM6 etc.) Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
