My battery life is just insane. I no longer have to charge my phone around mid-day like I used to.

You did mention that it seemed as if it took longer to charge and I can tell you that is true. My phone charges at a normal rate when plugged into AC but when plugged in via USB the charge is slower.

Battery life=amazing =)

No magical settings =).

Don't debate, just do! Grab a 1190MHz Kernel + 720p support from the link I provided and you'll be good to go!

What's the difference between the "BFS" and "CFS" file?

Got cyanogen installed the second time around. Thanks Sheanzy!
I'm stuck at the same spot. Am I being impatient and just have to wait it out? LOL

edit: Nevermind, I did a recovery using nandroid and I'm gonna try to reinstall.

Hey Sheanzy,

I found your settings for SetCPU.

Did you set all the % to 40% or do they go up and down?

Also is yours set to Scaling on Demand?

One more, what do you have priority settings on for each?

Battery < 40%: 1113MHz MAX and 245MIN
Screen off: 537MHz MAX and 245MIN
MAIN: 1190MHz MAX and 245MIN
CHARGING/FULL: 1190MHz MAX and 245MIN
USB/CHARGING: 1190MHz MAX and 245MIN
TEMP > 122 degrees: 537MHz MAX and 245MIN

Would you mind sharing your settings, this looks all Greek to me.

Not even sure what it does, lol.

Well I sort of know.

Thanks,

Gezza.

You guys, i heard this CyanogenMod is amazing but i wanna see how its amazing from the regular Android 2.2 and how to install it safely.

Now, your probably saying, DIDNT YOU READ THE DIRECTIONS? And yes i did but ive never actually changed ROM and im VERY NEW to this so i want to take extra caution on what happens. My phone just came back from a repair from HTC from one little market app so what could changing ROMS cause?

So just wondering, WHY IS EVERYONE CRAZY about this CyanogenMod 6? And what should i do just to be extra safe when installing it if i want to

After all my reading about modifying my N1 I still don't quite understand all the terminology. If I have Ti Backup do I need to nandroid? If I have ROM Manager do I need to nandroid? Is nandroid a complete backup of enerything, OS, data, settings, etc.. and Ti and ROM Manager aren't? I want too try a custom ROM but am still cautious.

1-Click rooted N1 FRF91

Thanks
